It has not been possible to establish who this serviceman may have been as there is no T Nock living in the area up to 1911. There is a local family named Nock at 43, Pye Hill Road, Jacksdale in 1911. The father is named Samuel, a colliery labourer at Pye Hill Colliery with wife Mary, and their two surviving children Samuel William Nock born 1895 Ironville, Alfreton and daughter Lydia born 1900.
