Jacksdale Miner’s Welfare Table Tennis Club is now one of the biggest in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire with over 30 senior and junior members. We have four teams competing in the Mansfield & District League and four in the Derby & District League. The junior section has a good membership, with ages ranging from 8 to 14 years. Home fixtures are played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the season, which runs from September to April.

Practice night is at the Jacksdale Miner’s Welfare on Tuesdays - Juniors from 6.45pm to 8.45pm followed by seniors until 10pm. JACKSDALE TABLE TENNIS CLUB SCOOP GOLD AWARD January 2014 By Debbie Rider - Secretary & treasurer of Mansfield Table Tennis League
Myself & 2 other girls play table tennis in the Veteran’s British league in Division 2 over two week ends, the last week end was played at Doncaster Dome on Sat 25th & Sunday 26th January. They have 3 ladies divisions, premier, one & two, we represent Jacksdale Miners Welfare. We are all ranked in the top 50 in the country, Karen Henry no 23, myself (Debbie Rider) no 45 & Linda Sanderson no 50 . We were so excited to win all 10 matches & win the division over the two week ends as the previous season we were on a wait list to re enter the event as the season previously we lost out on 0.4%
Karen our no 1 had a bad injury & couldn’t play so we had to get a reserve a week before the event so came 5th out of 6 teams to be relegated & drop onto the wait list for season 2013/2014
