There are few teams in the area who can boast such an impressive record as Westwood F.C. during the past five seasons. Their record is as follows:- 

1957-8. Ripley and District League Champions, Benevolent Cup Winners and D.F.A. finalsists. 1958 D.F.A. Medals runners-up: 1959-60, runners-up Bulwell League, League Cup Winners: 1960-61, Bulwell League Champions, League Cup winners: 1961-62, Stonebroom Cup Winners: 1962-63, Bulwell League Champions, League Cup semi-finalists. 

Truly a fine record, and so to the lads, in “blue and white”, the committee and the supporters, our congratulations and best wishes for the “semi” against Eastwood lads. “Well played, Westwood.”

Derek Hickenbottom being presented with some of the trophies the team won during this season.  Because he was coming back off his holidays, the league representative came to the club especially to do this.
