The Codnor Park & Selston Railway Station opened in Jacksdale in 1875. In 1901 it was renamed
Codnor Park Station (for Ironville), changing it's name again in 1950 to Jacksdale Station.

'Jacksdale Station' closed on 7th January 1963 and was demolished, along with the viaducts in 1974.
