DURHAM Family history details:

JOHN DURHAM (1849-1919) married SARAH ANN BARTLES (1854-1921) and had the following children:

MARY ELLEN (1874-1946) never married

JOHN WILLIAM (1876-1918) married HARRIET WILDBLOOD

ANNIE born 1878 married ?

ALICE (1880-1968) married WILLIAM POOLE (1884-1908) at St Marys in 1905

BETHIA born 1885 married HENRY ELKINGTON

ETHEL (1887-1963) married WILLIAM BROOK

ALFRED born 1895 married BERTHA SLATER at Riddings in 1921.  He is mentioned on Jacksdale War Memorial as a serving soldier.

The family lived in Pye Hill from 1891 onwards. JOHN and SARAH ANN both buried at Selston. Descendants of JOHN WILLIAM later moved to Nottingham.
